 Jerk Acceleration differentiated by time. Refers to th ratio of change in acceleration.
Jump Followers are commonly pressed against plate cams by the use of coil springs. However, as the rotating speed of the cam is gradually raised, the inertia of the load raises above the level of restraining force of the spring, thereby causing the follower to separate from the cam.
