Larger diameter holes can be made using this machine than with bench top drilling machines. It can shift to any one of the stepped-pulley’s four speeds and can enable automatic feeding of the drill. It is a rare type that can be attached with a vise. Depending on the shape of the workpiece to be drilled, the workpiece can be turned 180˚ in order to secure it using the vise.
