本機は、主軸を90度回転して、横形フライスあるいは立形フライスにもできる万能フライス盤である。そのためオーバーアームが斜めに取り付くユニークな形になっている。現状は横形フライスである。フレーム鋳出し文字に1896年特許取得とあるが、1920年頃の製造といわれる。

To make this possible, it has a unique shape with a diagonally positioned overhead arm. Currently, it is set for use as a horizontal milling cutter. The cast-in letters on the frame say that this type of machine was patented in 1896, but this example was manufactured around 1920.
