As part of this, in August 2018, we held a classical concert in the newly designed hall of our group’s factory, which was created for multi-purpose use. Surrounded by beautiful nature, employees and stakeholders enjoyed high-quality music, which stimulated creativity and motivated them to further enhance their craftsmanship.
Furthermore, Sankyo Seisakusho fulfills its corporate social responsibility through various initiatives, such as operating the Machinery Museum, where visitors can deepen their understanding of the history and evolution of construction machinery, and contributing to the local communities where our offices and factories are located.
As part of our commitment to CSR, we host a series of concerts throughout the year to promote a vibrant, artistic, and cultural atmosphere.
The Factory Greening Initiative at SANKYO Shizuoka Manufacturing Plant received the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry's Award for Excellent Green Factories in 2004.
Guidelines for Action
Our company has established and operates an Environmental Management System (EMS) based on the international standard ISO 14001. In February 2004, SANKYO Shizuoka Manufacturing Plant obtained ISO 14001 certification for the design, development, manufacturing, and related services (modifications, repairs, overhauls, and maintenance/inspection) of cam devices, cam-type indexing devices, precision reduction gears, feeder devices for press machines, their application equipment, and peripheral devices.
